All of our events are held at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, located at 4310 Highway 36 South, Rosenberg,
Texas. Click here for directions to the show site.
Our 72nd and 73rd All-Breed Conformation Shows will be held on January 19 and 20, 2013, and we will host
the American Rottweiler Club Region III Specialty Show on Friday, January 18, 2013. The closing date for these
events will be January 2, 2013. You may contact the Show Chair for our upcoming all-breed show, Illona
Chu, at chupak@sbcglobal.net. We last hosted agility trials on November 18 - 20, 2011. For additional information on this event, please
contact Monica Wilson, Event Secretary, at 228-669-7041 or at doggonefun@suddenlink.net. We will not be hosting any agility trials in 2012.
We do not have plans at this time for a match.
2011 Show Our 68th and 69th All Breed Conformation Shows were held on January 22 and 23, 2011. On Friday, January
21, 2011, we hosted the American Rottweiler Club Region III Specialty Show. Click here to see the Group and Best In Show winners from our 2011 show weekend.
2012 Show Our
70th and 71st All Breed Conformation Shows were held on January 21 and 22, 2012. On Friday, January 19, 2012, we
hosted the American Rottweiler Club Region III Specialty Show. Below is a photograph of Fort Bend Kennel Club members with the Best In Show winner at our 71st All-Breed
Dog Show held on Sunday, January 22, 2012. The show was dedicated to the memory of beloved club member James Michael
Godin, DVM (May 22, 1945 - December 22, 2011); and Mike's daughter, Peggy Elizabeth Godin Byars, is shown below presenting
the Best In Show trophy. The winner is
a Miniature Schnauzer dog named CH GCH Rockyhill Icees Raisin' The Bar ("Judge"), bred and owned by Shirley
Fry. Judge was handled to this win by Chuy Moreno. Our Best In Show judge on the day was Ms. Denny C. Mounce.
